We replaced a broken coffee maker with this one. My husband and I had always thought of Bunn being a commercial product and never thought we'd have one in our home. However, we're very happy with the purchase. The coffee maker itself is pretty big, so if you're short on space you may want to consider something else. We found that it takes a bit more coffee than our other maker, but on the flipside, the taste is much better. The carafe is VERY easy to clean and well made. This is definitely a solid piece of equipment. That's essentially why I gave it 5 stars. It's not flashy with bells and whistles like timers, grinders, steamers, etc. But most of those products are flimsy and malfunction quickly as evidenced by their reviews. Bunn is a product that has been around for ages and is tried and true. If you want a great cup of coffee that won't burn because it's in thermal carafe and you want this product to last, look no further.
