This may be a commercial unit, but it has not passed the simple test of private residential use. My wife and I are one-cup-a-day coffee drinkers for the most part. We did not need a commercial coffee maker, but I enjoy quality and usually try to purchase things that last. This coffee maker works okay...when it works! After 11 months of use, the unit failed and would not work. I called Bunn and was able to send it to them for a repair or replacement. They did replace the unit. That was about 18 months ago. Well, once again, the coffee maker is not working. The base unit leaks and is shorting out. It keeps blowing the breaker. Let it sit for a few days and it will work again for a few days. I woke up this morning to have my Sunday morning coffee and, you guessed it, not working. It's to the trash for this rather expensive machine!!! When it did work, I liked the unit, but the switch at the bottom that determined the amount of coffee to brew sometimes was accurate and other times was not. We had a lot of half full cups and a lot of over flows. If you want to take a gamble on this machine at home, go ahead. For business purposes, this is probably not a gamble you want to take! I gave it two stars because the coffee produced was good when it worked.
